The management quota admission process at PES University is more structured than people often expect. It isn’t as simple as walking in and handing over a cheque — there’s a sequence of steps to follow, and skipping any of them can delay or derail your application. Here’s what it looks like in practice.
Confirm eligibility first. Your child must have scored at least 60% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in Class 12 and must have appeared in either JEE Main 2026 or KCET 2026.
If neither exam has been attempted, that needs to happen before admission is
Decide on campus and branch. Think carefully about the Ring Road vs Electronic City campus and which engineering specialisation aligns with your child’s interests and career goals. Also consider the fee difference between branches — CSE and AIML are the most expensive; branches like Civil or Electrical Engineering cost considerably less.
Fill out the online application. Visit the official PES University Management Quota portal at admissions.pes.edu and complete the management quota application form. Upload the required academic documents and pay the application fee, which is approximately Rs. 1,200. This fee is non-refundable.
Group Discussion and Interview.
Unlike many private colleges, PES University includes a Group Discussion and Interview round as part of the management quota admission process. Prepare your child for this — it’s not just a formality. The university uses this to assess communication skills and general aptitude.
Seat confirmation and fee payment.
If selected, you’ll receive an email with further instructions, including details for paying the blocking or seat-booking fee via Demand Draft.
Document submission. Bring original documents plus attested photocopies to complete the in-person admission formalities. PES University Management Quota will verify everything before confirming the seat.
Throughout this process, keep your JEE Main or KCET scorecard handy — these are mandatory documents even for management quota applications. Starting early is critical: popular branches fill up by June.
